Culture-historical conservation and analysis
At the culture-historical conservation workshop we treat all culture-historical material, e.g. textiles, leather, wood, glass, stone, ceramics, bones, metals, plastic and plaster. Artefacts from more recent times are conserved as well as material from archaeological excavations.
Many different types of artefact arrive at the conservation workshop, each of which calls for its own special treatment, according to what material the artefact is made of and the degree of decomposition.
