Who are we?

Archaeology at Odense City Museums deals with the earliest Funen history, from the end of the last Ice Age, around 13,000 BC, until the Reformation in 1536 AD.

Field of responsibility

The aim for the archaeology department at Odense City Museums is to collect, register and select objects for conservation, and to disseminate the archaeological source material from the pre-history, early history and medieval period of Funen.
