Picnic bag

From 1 July to 14 August visitors to The Funen Village can buy a picnic bag with homemade delicacies. The picnic bag is suitable for a picnic in The Funen Village and contains enough food to satisfy an adult.

We offer the picnic bag in collaboration with Salt & Peber, a catering firm. Salt & Peber guarantees food of high quality rooted in the traditional farming society on Funen. Special focus is on animal welfare, and local ingredients from Funen.

The contents vary according to the season. For instance you can taste Danish meatballs made of beef or delicious homemade sausages, cheese, eggs, fruit, and vegetables. Moreover you get two kinds of homemade bread and a cake with fresh fruit.

Price: 65,- DKK

Drinks not incl. You can buy drinks (water or juice) at the Visitor Centre.

 

How to order:
Please order in advance using this form below or by phoning +45 6551 4601.
We have to receive your online order the day before your visit at 8 pm. at the latest, and telephone orders at 4 pm.
Orders will be ready from 11.30 am - 1 pm. at the Visitor Centre, unless you have arranged otherwise. (Please use "Comments")
After 1 pm. the picnic bags will be sold to our other guests.

A small number of picnic bags are available at the Visitor Centre for those guests, who haven't ordered in advance.
