...all the buildings in the Funen Village

originally were situated in villages around Funen and the surrounding islands?

Most of the buildings were purchased ind the 1940s og '50s, but as late in 1997 we rebuild the bark store from Langeland.

Guided tours

Odense City Museums offer guided tours of the Funen Village in English and German. A guided tour gives you a good introduction to the history of the Funen Village and to life in the Funen countryside in the 19th century.

If you have special requests for your tour, you can book a museum curator with specific knowledge on the subject.

Museum Curator in English                 1200 dkk (excl. entrance fee)
Tour guide in English                         750 dkk (excl. entrance fee)

A tour of the Funen Village lasts 75 minutes. Maximum 25 participants.

Guided tours in other languages than English are provided by Guideservice Fyn.
